我的作品不是叙事，而是叙述关于救赎、拯救、宽容与爱、平安和喜乐。
画面力求非具象的极简与可辨识度。
我使用油彩和丙烯材料，在画布和纸张上创作，但如今我更多时候使用数字绘画，因它给予我更大的自由与灵感的流动空间。
我希望我的绘画带给人平和、安静、喜乐和信仰。
我的创作灵感完全来自于圣经。
我所运用的风格语言，是只属于我自己的。
梵高书信是我艺术的启蒙和源泉。
似乎从19岁开始，绘画一直贯穿我的人生，当然，还有余生。
我不是一个聪慧的人，我的能力来自于主的恩赐。

My work is not narrative, but it speaks of redemption, salvation, compassion, love, peace, and joy.
I strive for non-representational minimalism with a sense of visual clarity.
I paint with oil and acrylic on canvas and paper, though these days I work more often with digital media, which gives me greater freedom and flow in creative expression.
I hope my work brings peace, quietness, joy, and faith to those who view it.
All my inspiration comes from the Bible.
The visual language I use belongs to me alone.
The letters of Vincent van Gogh were the beginning and source of my artistic awakening.
Since the age of 19, painting has run through my life—and it will stay through the rest of it.
I am not a clever man; my ability is a gift from the Lord.

艺术家陈述（学术版）
My practice examines how structure (frame) and terrain (field) co-produce perception. Since 2019 I have developed two interrelated bodies of work: Frame and Field (oil on canvas) and Perfect Seven (digital painting). The former relocates landscape to the industrial and civic interiors of Los Angeles—warehouses, campuses, understructures—while also engaging the region’s foothills, riverbeds, and coastline. The latter compresses experience into minimal rhythmic fields where sevenfold cadences organize light and time.
I work from embodied navigation rather than optical description. Corridors, stairways, ridgelines, and shadows are translated into grids, knife-marks, and stacked planes. Impasto, dry brushing, scoring, lift-off, and warm–cool glazing produce surfaces that oscillate between figuration and abstraction. In the digital works I adapt these operations through layered grounds, soft-edge strokes, controlled noise, and value-based glow—keeping the sense of material drag inside a screen-native language.
The project is research-driven: What happens when a city’s interior becomes a landscape? How does a body remember direction—where to turn, where to pause—and how can painting retain that memory without illustration? Faith provides my ethical and perceptual horizon. I understand light not only as an optical event but as a formative agency that threads through fracture and dust to quietly establish order. This premise aligns the industrial palette—ochres, asphalt blacks, cooling blues—with California’s sun-bleached earths and marine haze.
I seek a painting that is navigated rather than merely viewed: a field in which the viewer’s eyes walk, hesitate, and breathe. Across media, the work proposes that structure is not the opposite of the wild; it is the load-bearing rhythmthat allows openness to appear.
我的创作关注结构（框）与地形（原野）如何共同生成观看。自2019年起，实践主要由两组互相关联的作品构成：布面油画的《框与原野》与数字绘画的《完美的七》。前者把“风景”迁入洛杉矶的工业／公共空间之内（仓库、校园、城市底部结构），同时延伸至圣盖博山麓、干涸河道与海岸线；后者则把经验压缩为极简的节律场，以“七式节拍”组织时间与光值。
我从身体的行走而非纯粹的视觉再现出发：通道、台阶、山脊与阴影被转译为网格、刮刀痕与叠置平面。在油画中使用厚涂、干刷、刻划、提色与冷暖罩染，使图像在具象与抽象之间振荡；在数字绘画中，通过分层底色、软边笔触、受控噪点与光值处理，保留“材质的阻力”，同时形成屏幕原生的语法。
此项目的研究问题包括：当城市的内部被当作风景观看，会发生什么？身体如何记住方向——何处转身，何处停顿——而绘画又如何在非叙事的条件下保存这种记忆？信仰构成我的伦理与观看地平：我理解光不仅是光学事件，更是一种在破碎与尘雾中温柔建构秩序的行动。这使工业色谱（赭土、沥青黑、冷蓝）与加州的日晒土色与海雾灰蓝自然对位。
我期望绘画是被“行走”而非被“观看”的：观者的双眼在画面中行进、犹疑与呼吸。无论媒材为何，作品都主张：结构并不反对野性，它是使开阔得以显现的承重节律。
